We are pleased to invite you to attend the International Scientific Conference Genetic Processes in Populations. The Conference is commemorating the 85th birthday of an outstanding population geneticist, Academician Yury P. Altukhov and dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Laboratory of Population Genetics founded by Yu. P. Altukhov and named after him. The Conference will be held at the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow on 11–14 October 2022.
The main objective of the conference is to present Yu. P. Altukhov's scientific heritage and achievements of his scientific school, to discuss the modern state and perspectives of population and general genetics in Russia and in the world, to bring along new methods for the estimation and monitoring of genetic diversity that reveal factors underlying genetic processes in plant, animal and human populations.
